We are receiving reports that Tim Rustige has been re-arrested by Grampian Police only days after appearing before a very disorganised court in Aberdeen.
This report from Belinda.
I have just spoken to Rusty’s son, he confirmed his mum is out on her nursing job today and doesn’t know the situation yet. He was phoned to say come over immediately and when he arrived the garage door was open and he found a Grampian officer searching it, he asked for and was shown ID but when he asked to see the search warrant he was told to go to another officer upstairs.
Found said officer in his Dad’s bedroom and asked him for the search warrant but was told to ‘stay quiet or you’ll be arrested too.” So he sat on the bed till the officer had finished, he thinks there was another officer doing the downstairs rooms making 3 in all and a couple outside in the van. In the end they mainly took his Mum’s computer, despite him protesting that was her computer, not Rusty’s and he could produce the receipt as he and she had bought it together.
Rusty’s bail condition being that he is not allowed to go online, so he thinks that’s why they are interested in his Mum’s computer to see if he’s been sneaking online on that.
He was told his dad would be held over the weekend and would be in court on Monday.
I’m going to get in touch with Rusty’s solicitor and please would this now go out so people can start emailing Rusty’s MP and phoning Grampian police etc.
OUTRAGEOUS, I’m fuming.
We are awaiting further independent confirmation of Rusty’s re-arrest and more detail as to the circumstances.
It goes without saying this is unacceptable behaviour by the police so please register your disapproval by texting them on 07739 934444 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rusty’s MP is Graham Brady MP (Altrincham & Sale/Conservative) and the phone number is the parliamentary switchboard 020 7219 3000 then ask for Graham Brady’s office, or email email@example.com
