Default Paul McBride QC “dies in sleep” in Pakistan.

http://www.scotsman.com/news/scottis…otel_1_2153248

Quote:
ONE of Scotland’s leading lawyers has died in his sleep in a hotel in Pakistan.

Paul McBride QC died on Saturday night.

A statement issued by spokesman Jack Irvine on behalf of his family said: “Paul died in his sleep last night in a hotel in Pakistan and at this time we would ask you to respect the privacy of his family.”

Quote:
Paul McBride, QC, said that any attempt to capture al-Megrahi and return him to jail would be “illegal and preposterous”.

“What do the Americans want him for?” he asked. “He has been convicted in a court they approved of and released. Just because they don’t agree with the decision to release him doesn’t mean they can kidnap him, take him to their country and throw him in jail. That would be a similar situation to Guantanamo Bay.”

I can’t see it to do with the sectarians in Scotland, like Northern Ireland they are mostly of low intelligence, would make a caveman look like a genious and I can’t see them even knowing Pakistan exists, let alone silently murdering someone in that country.

My suspicions lie with the present situation with the Megrahi case, he is involved and suspiciously little or no mention, other than passing, mentions his role in it.

Incidentally, the report that may show the man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing may have been a victim of a miscarriage of justice is due to be published.

http://www.scotsman.com/news/lockeri…shed_1_2152793

Quote:
A REPORT that purports to show that the conviction of the Lockerbie bomber was a miscarriage of justice is now “very likely” to be made public, the Scottish Government has claimed.

Information contained in the 800-page report includes the six grounds on which Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi planned to appeal against his conviction for killing 270 people by placing explosives on Pan Am flight 103. It is currently protected under data protection laws.

Last week justice secretary Kenny MacAskill wrote to his UK counterpart, Ken Clarke, saying it was “imperative” that the document be made public. The move could only go ahead if the UK government makes a one-off exception under data protection law.

This is a warning message to those who do not toe the line

ISI is CIA is SIS

ISI AND CIA RAN 911 (with one or two other trans national grand masters)

Libya had nothing to do with Lockerbie

Research dead man Joe Vialls on the assassination of the woman PC outside a certain embassy in London

Pakistan is a nest of vipers, and I can guarantee you the MESSAGE HAS GONE OUT

Yes, absolutely, the Elite within the British establishment are of low intelligence.

The Megrahi “pardon” if it can be called that will be overshadowed by the stuff going on with the war graves, offensive as it is, it’s going on all the time there, why concentrate on it now?

There are people being tortured to death, summary executions, horrific gunfights, almost nothing on the news. I suspect that the media and the government is wanting to slip Megrahi’s criminal record off without anyone noticing and more importantly asking… Who the hell was responsible for Lockerbie?

Robert Green’s blog:
http://holliedemandsjustice-robertgr…aid-board.html

Scottish Legal Aid Board

“The initial legal advice I received after my arrest in 2010 indicated that the complexities of my case were such that I would require an extremely high-calibre defence team. As I am by no stretch of the imagination a wealthy man, I applied for Legal Aid which was was duly awarded. I was then able to assemble a defence team which comprised Gerry Sweeney (human rights lawyer), John McLaughlin (junior counsel) and Donald Findlay QC (senior counsel).

In January 2011 the Crown Office dropped the original charges against myself and replaced them with new charges. This change required me to re-apply for Legal Aid. I was advised by several people at the time that, although the Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB) is technically completely independent of the Crown Office, this situation looked as if it had been engineered to deny me Legal Aid and deprive me of the services of my high-calibre legal team.

So it proved that my initial application was refused and now my appeal has been turned down as well.

I find it hard to believe how I could be refused when it has recently been reported that both parties in a £10million divorce dispute have been awarded Legal Aid”.

It has also been pointed out to me that a senior SLAB employee, Douglas Haggarty, faced criminal charges in 2009 after being arrested with a rent boy in a shopping centre toilet. In this case the Procurator Fiscal decided to scrap court proceedings in favour of a “direct measure”. It was never disclosed what this “direct measure” was, Haggarty did not face any professional sanctions from the Law Society of Scotland and he remains employed by SLAB. He was defended by Paul McBride QC, a member of the SLAB board who has been tipped to be the next Lord Advocate.
