for a series of rapes and indecent assaults on girls as young as six.
Peter Turner, 58, of Kingsdown Road, St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe was sentenced today at Canterbury Crown Court.
Turner abused the girls when they were visiting his family home and elsewhere from the mid 1970s up until 2005.
Sergeant Matthew Jones said: “Turner preyed upon very young girls who
trusted him, and he abused this trust repeatedly for his own sexual

to the victims’ credit that they found the courage to come forward and
give their distressing accounts to police.

“It is fit and proper that Turner has received an extensive custodial sentence for his offending over three decades.
