The chaplain worked for Cambridgeshire Police
A former police force chaplain has been charged with possessing indecent images of children.
The Rev Stephen Talbot resigned from his role at Cambridgeshire Police on October 1 and was arrested the same day, the force said.
He will face allegations of making and possessing indecent images and perverting the course of justice.
The married 62-year-old, of Main Street, Little Downham, was previously based at the force’s headquarters.
He will appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today.
