Dear Data Protection,

Upon request here is clarification of my query

-do you have this cats file and crime reference details stored on your database?
-if so are persons involved?
-how many individuals are implicated or accused in this crime?
-has this information been altered in anyway?
-who would be able to alter these records?
-who were the investigating officers or departments involved?
-what departments were involved?
-how many man hours did these incidents have?

If you can provide me the details to any of the above that would be beneficial

Yours sincerely,

scott pattinson

Dear Morris Steven,

I did realise personal information was not possible but in saying that you still can’t tell me if the cats file has been altered? That would not in anyway divulge personal information. Furthermore I think stating that these inquiries are related to the McCann’s is divulging information that is not pertinent to my inquiry.

I did not at anytime request this but you seem eager to make this known for reasons unknown to me. I do thank you for some of the information received though but feel there should be a little more

Yours sincerely,

scott pattinson

Dear Morris Steven,

I will ask again, I did realise personal information was not possible but in saying
that you still can’t tell me if the cats file has been altered?
Yours sincerely,

scott pattinson

Morris Steven,

Mr Pattinson

All CATS logs are updated regularly as they are a record of an investigation. If this is what you refer to as altered then yes, as the investigation progresses information is added.

If you mean was it altered with a view of intentionally removing data pertinent to the investigation then the answer is no.

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Steven Morris
