Further to my post regarding the need to re-investigate abuse at devon schools i have been asked to post the following on behalf of the Met police who are collating evidence.
.Sadly the tendrils of Saville reach Devon..The Met are now looking into whether Jimmy Savile abused children at Colleton Lodge in Exeter.

The children’s home closed in 1986 and the building has since been converted into flats.

Nationally twenty children’s homes and schools are being investigated and Education Secretary, Michael Gove, is calling for an inquiry.

Allegations dating back to the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s have been handed to the Department for Education, after a review of documents by the Metropolitan Police.

Anyone with any information relating to the child abuse allegations surrounding Colleton Lodge is asked to phone 0345 155 1071.immediately… thank you..
