Gary Glitter denies 10 sex charges
He faces 10 charges relating to alleged crimes committed in the 1970s and early 1980s.
The 70-year-old, whose real name is Paul Gadd, appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London to enter not guilty pleas to the charges.
The alleged offences include six counts of indecent assault and one charge of unlawful intercourse.
Mr Gadd is also accused of administering alcohol with the intention to “stupefy or overpower” one girl to enable him to have sex with her between January and May 1977.
The girls were aged between 12 and 14 at the time of the alleged crimes.
Mr Gadd, from Marylebone in central London, is currently on bail.
