Man to go on trial accused of raping schoolgirl and woman

A MAN has appeared in court accused of raping a schoolgirl on various occasions.
It is alleged 24-year-old Dean McKenzie, who is described as a prisoner in Peterhead, assaulted the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at various Aberdeenshire addresses between May 2006 and May 31, 2008.
McKenzie is also accused of abducting the girl and raping her on various occasions between May 1, 2006 and May 31, 2008.
He faces another charge of raping a woman on various occasions between February 17 and December 10, 2013 at various addresses in Aberdeen.
His co-accused Annette Ross, 48, whose address was given in court papers as 15 Greenburn Drive, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, is accused of assaulting the schoolgirl on November 9, 2007, by hitting her on the head with a pen and scratching her face.
She is also charged with detaining the other alleged rape victim against her will in a house in Aberdeen on various occasions between February 17 and December 10, last year. Ross also denies all the charges.
Trial was fixed for the High Court in Aberdeen in March.
