1. Day 14 of Westminster hearings at #CSAinquiry – my round-up in three parts. Part 3 in 21 tweets.

A secret operation… Dolphin Square, MPs, the Navy officer, the gvt official in arms sales. And the boy left brain-damaged after attack. All in the “document dump”…

2. A previously unknown police probe into allegations of “organised sexual abuse” of children in care in London at “sex parties” by “political, government and military figures” was THWARTED (1996-9), according to ex-detective anonymised as “GB” in statement to #CSAinquiry
3. ‘Operation Mileshogue’ was investigating these allegs of sexual abuse by #VIPaedophiles at various locations, inc Dolphin Square, of “young boys within the care system” from Bermondsey to Thamesmead, according to disclosures buried in Day 14’s “document dump” by #CSAinquiry
4. Met’s ‘Operation Winter Key’ had to reassure GB in 2016 that he would not be breaking Official Secrets Act by telling them about Operation Mileshogue or about the MP on “sex tape” with teenager.

1. Day 14 of Westminster hearings at #CSAinquiry – my round-up in 25 tweets.

Closing submissions on behalf of core participants. And an outburst from a survivor of child sexual abuse who was denied a voice at the inquiry, leading to a correction from Harvey Proctor’s barrister.

5. Ex-police, like GB in tweet 4, often labour under totally false fear of Official Secrets Act.

No jury will convict you of blowing the whistle on #VIPaedophile cover-ups, and the state knows it. Threats to use OSA in such circumstances are total bluff.

Do the right thing.

6. GB found out about the allegations in tweet 3 while at child protection unit in Shooter’s Hill during 1991-6, he says in statement to #CSAinquiry – included in its “document dump” on Day 14.

He took case with him to Met’s paedophile unit for investigation in 1996. But…

7. Managers refused applications for surveillance and specialist facilities for Operation Mileshogue, GB tells #CSAinquiry.

He was lone Met officer on case, which evaporated when he left paedo unit in 1999, he says. ‘Mileshogue’ suspects cropped up in separate probe into PIE…

8. One suspect “was already a high-profile subject of interest in Surrey,” GB tells #CSAinquiry in statement, a former head teacher who was living in Surrey and who was previously exposed by a newspaper.

As a result, Surrey Police ran parts of case under ‘Operation Lucifer’…

9. Surveillance targets were mysteriously being tipped off, GB told Met’s Operation Winter Key, as disclosed to #CSAinquiry.

But surveillance officers of Surrey Police on ‘Operation Lucifer’ had a bigger shock coming while watching another suspect nr Kensington Palace Gardens…

10. Armed plain-clothed officers of Special Branch threatened surveillance officers on ‘Operation Lucifer’, pointing a gun to their heads and telling them to stop because suspect was gvt official engaged in arms sales.

GB’s statement buried in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

11. Evidence has surfaced several times of how MI5’s thugs in Special Branch have gone around threatening people who might expose #VIPaedophiles.

So much for our “liberal democracy”. Tweet 10 is yet another example. Don Hale @perryscope21 is not the only one to testify to this.

12. Operation Mileshogue interviewed around seven “young boys” who were being supplied for sexual abuse at parties at:

• Dolphin Square;
• suspects’ homes;
• on a boat (a “little gin palace”).

GB to Met’s Operation Winter Key, as buried in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

13. The pimp who supplied these boys for sexual abuse lived in Greenwich. He was a police informant and was “like a modern-day Fagan”, GB told Met, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

The pimp said that he was also abused at Dolphin Square himself when he was a boy.

14. “He [the pimp] would take kids round to various addresses. There was a core group of about five people’s homes, five suspects that were named.”

GB to Met’s Operation Winter Key, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

15. Child sexual abusers specifically at Dolphin Square included a Navy officer and a politician, boys told Operation Mileshogue.

And the “gin palace” would “sail outside British territorial waters”…

GB to Met, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

16. On the “gin palace”, GB told Operation Winter Key: “They often used to go off shore. People they met on the boat, it was basically an orgy on the boat.”

“There were people on there that wouldn’t do it in the UK, didn’t want to be seen in the UK.”

#CSAinquiry “document dump”

16b. The description of the boat where boys were taken for sexual abuse (tweets 15 and 16), as buried in the “document dump” by #CSAinquiry, is no more than as a “gin palace”.

I understand this to mean a lavish pleasure boat, such as a yacht.

17. Another suspect in Operation Mileshogue was a government official engaged in arms sales, who lived in Orpington, GB told Met, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

“We followed him around.”

But see what happened with that in tweet 10.

18. Another boy told friends that he was going to police to “tell them everything” about the sexual abuse of children by MPs at Dolphin Square but he was then attacked in Trafalgar Square and left brain-damaged.

GB to Met, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

19. Police interviewed the boy. He gave police the attacker’s first name and described him as a Fagan-type character who was taking children to parties to be sexually abused, GB told Met, as disclosed in “document dump” by #CSAinquiry.

No one was caught for attacking the boy…

20. Boy left brain-damaged was “about 14”, GB told Met, as disclosed to #CSAinquiry. “He was about 10 when he started to be abused.”

In interview, the boy’s brain injuries made taking evidence from him very difficult, but he had “moments of clarity talking about being abused.”

21. GB was NOT called to testify to #CSAinquiry, his evidence simply DUMPED in inquiry’s “document dump” on Day 14, without even a summary of their contents.
