So, another senior minister bites the dust over a further sex scandal., after the police, had been relentlessly attacked by the Prime Minister and other of supporters of the now disgraced Mr Green.

When the Conservatives have already admitted that they are prepared to cover up criminal sex offences against children by its MPs in order to blackmail them into submission, who can blame the police for opening up the case, in the public interest?

The question that is most pertinent relating to Damian Green is still not being addressed, which could also be directed at Michael Fallon.

It is, did one or both of these now former senior ministers leave themselves open to blackmail over their sexual misconduct whilst in office?

The British public has a right to know.
