Three people have been arrested as part of a probe into alleged physical abuse by staff at a Powys residential school for young people with learning disabilities.
Dyfed-Powys Police have arrested a 62-year-old man and two women, aged 49 and 60, on suspicion of child neglect.
The arrests form part of the investigation at Womaston Children’s Home and School at Walton, near Presteigne.
All three have been released on bail.
Womaston, a children’s home and school for pupils aged between 11 and 19 with learning disabilities including autism and challenging behaviour, was run by the charity MacIntyre.
The school closed on 31 August.
