The objectives of The Organisation shall be: –

To
promote the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution and
reconciliation through awareness raising platforms and  influencing,
legislation, policies and strategies.



 The
advancement of equality and diversity through awareness raising
platforms and influencing, legislation, policies and strategies.



 To promote the advancement of education. This will be done through the less formal educational approach in the community.


 The
advancement of citizenship and community development which include both
rural and urban regeneration and the promotion of civic responsibility.
 A focus to on the development and teaching of civic values, which
promote and protect the rights of citizens.



The promotion of religious or racial harmony, through hosting multicultural festivals and activities.

Sheku Bayoh

The
organisation is named after a young man named Sheku Bayoh age 31 years.
He was well liked and known in his community. Sheku Bayoh died in
Police custody in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. 

How
he died in the hands of the police on 3rd May 2015  is still under
investigation.  The family were given 5 different account about how he
died by Police Scotland. 

It took
32 days for Police Scotland to give statements about how he died in
their custody.  Sheku Bayoh is a father of 2 young sons 4 years and
6 months. His family are still waiting for answers. 

The
family do not want any other family to suffer the same, this is why the
organisation is set up to stop the incident from repeating itself.
